1. 14:30-16:30: pick-up from your hotel in Dubai by private Land Rover Defender. The time depends on the season, and the exact time is confirmed around midday on the day of the tour.
2. Arrival at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Every guest receives a headscarf and a stainless-steel water bottle to keep.
3. Photos with a collection of vintage Land Rovers in museum condition.
4. 60 minutes: a private nature drive through the reserve by Land Rover Defender, with a conservation guide who explains the desert's plants and animals.
5. A stop at a remote lake for photos.
6. A formal welcome at your private oasis camp.
7. At sunset: canapés and sparkling juice.
8. A private falconry show against the sunset.
9. Dinner from a Michelin-starred chef's menu: caviar, then five courses of your choice.
10. Time to relax in a luxurious majlis, with shisha or cigars if you like.
11. A fire show.
12. Any extra entertainment you have added, from the options listed below.
13. 21:30-23:30: return to your hotel, depending on the season. The whole programme takes about 7 hours.

• The whole experience is private and designed for 2-20 guests. Larger groups are welcome on request.
• The price is for a private camp for your whole group, not per person.
• You receive a menu card in a welcome pack before the evening starts, and your guide takes your order at the beginning.
• A musician and other extras can be added: tell me what you would like when you book.
• Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and light, comfortable clothes, plus a warm layer for winter evenings.
• Dinner is included. Tell me about vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other diets and any allergies when you book.
• There are toilets at the camp.
• The nature drive is not recommended after the sixth month of pregnancy.
• Part of the price supports nature conservation in Dubai.

There are two camps for the private experience.

Royal Platinum Oasis: 8 guests or more

A private camp with a modern gazebo and a large patio among palm trees and dunes. It suits bigger groups and is booked for a minimum of 8 guests.

Nestled Platinum Oasis: 2-10 guests

A secluded camp around a quiet oasis, for smaller groups. It has a modern air-conditioned indoor lounge for up to 10 guests, and the outdoor seating area can take up to 60 if needed.

Dinner follows a menu by a Michelin-starred chef and is cooked on site by your personal chef. It opens with caviar, and then you choose one of two dishes in each of the five courses.

To start

• Caviar with the classic garnishes: blinis, crème fraîche, chopped hard-boiled egg and shallots

Appetiser

• Tuna tataki: Asian vegetables, soy and ponzu dressing, sesame and a crisp tuile
• Duck breast: home-made fig jam, butter-poached endive, balsamic reduction, verbena and fresh figs

Soup

• Gently spiced lentil soup with a baked oyster, blended with potato, carrot and celery
• Classic lobster bisque, slow-simmered with vegetables and served with pieces of lobster

Hot appetiser

• Char-grilled aubergine: pomegranate glaze, smoked aubergine purée, vegan feta and a pine-nut crumble
• Pan-seared sea bass: Mediterranean vegetable risotto, confit cherry tomatoes and pesto

Main course

• Corn-fed chicken breast: potato purée, wild mushrooms and truffle jus
• Beef tenderloin: potato terrine, baby carrots, asparagus and grain-mustard sauce

Dessert

• Exotic fruit salad with mango sorbet and kiwi purée
• Luqaimat filled with orange cream, with orange-glazed sweet potato and a cinnamon caramel sauce
